Nick Langtry

Q: Why do you love beer?

A: Hops. Before the craft beer explosion, I never cared for beer, until I had an IPA & learned I loved the bitterness.

Q: What kind of beer are you brewing?

A: I'm doing a Milkshake IPA. I always bring a NEIPA, but strive to do something different than last time.

Q: Are you brewing in honor of anyone? Would you like to say anything about their story?

A: My father. He beat his cancer this year.

Q: Are you new to brewing or an experienced hand? How long have you been brewing for KFTC?

A: I've been brewing over 8 years. Brewed for KFTC for, I believe, 5 years.

Q: Do you have any favorite memories, interesting opinions, or otherwise notable things to relate about your love for brewing?

A: My father was the first to teach me homebrewing long ago. A few years later I picked it up again, went all grain, and never stopped.

Q: What is your favorite beer or style?

A: IPA

Q: Anything else you’d like to say?

A: I'm passionate about the hops. I truly believe there's an IPA for everyone, even when they say they don't like them.
